Ready to list: what to list first

Ready to list is the stack of things you bought, scanned, and have not listed yet. Ready to list sits on the Sell tab, under Not live yet. It scores all of your saved items that are not listed anywhere and ranks them, so you can start with the ones that cost you the most by sitting.

The card shows how many items are unlisted, puts the most urgent first, and gives each row a List button.

How the ranking works

Each item gets a score built from four factors:

• Age, 30 percent: how long you have owned the item.
• Category speed, 25 percent: how fast items in that category sell.
• Profit potential, 30 percent: expected profit from estimated value minus your costs.
• Value density, 15 percent: higher value items get a small boost.

Work the list

1. Open Sell and stay on Not live yet. Ready to list is below any listings you started and have not finished.
2. Start at the top of the list.
3. Tap List on a row to open that item's listing form.
4. Publish directly to a connected eBay or Bonanza account, or cross list to other marketplaces.
5. Once an item is listed, it drops out of the unlisted count.

Listings that are not live yet

Above Ready to list, Not live yet holds listings you started and never published. When eBay refused one, the row is marked Not live yet in amber with eBay's reason in plain words and, where a safe fix exists, a one-tap button: try again, take a flagged word out of the title, or set up your eBay business policies. Other fixes open the listing form at the field that needs you.

Get better rankings

Profit potential is part of the score, so record what you paid for each item when you save it. The more items with a purchase price on file, the more the ranking reflects real money rather than estimates alone.
