Publish a listing to eBay

Edit the AI title and price, fill eBay's category, condition and shipping details, then publish now or schedule the listing to go live later.

Once an item is analyzed, open it and scroll to the "Create Listing" section. Nothing goes live until you press publish, so you can review everything first.

Edit the content

  • Title: optimized for search, 80 characters max on eBay
  • Price: your asking price
  • Description: plain text that works on any platform
  • Keywords: click to copy one keyword or copy them all
  • Revert: discard your changes and restore the last saved version

Fill in what eBay requires

  1. Search for and select a category.
  2. Pick a condition from the category-specific options.
  3. Complete the item specifics. The form loads what eBay requires for that category and pre-fills from your scan where it can, such as Brand and Model.
  4. Set shipping: free shipping or flat rate, shipping cost, package weight and handling time.
  5. Choose a return policy: 14, 30 or 60 days, buyer pays or seller pays. If business policies are enabled on your eBay account, you can use those instead.

Fixed price, auction, or scheduled

At the review step there is a Fixed price / Auction toggle. Auction adds a start price, a duration of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days with 7 as the default, and optional reserve and Buy It Now. The start price defaults to 50 percent of the estimated value, since low starts historically attract more watchers and bids. Change it to whatever you want.

Use "Publish Live on eBay" to go live immediately, or the "Go live at" picker to schedule. It has presets for Now, +6h and Tomorrow plus a custom date and time, and eBay allows scheduling up to 21 days out.

After it publishes

A view listing link appears on the item. From the live listing card you can update the price, use the one-tap markdown chips at -5%, -10% and -15%, push edited title and description to the live listing, or set Best Offer thresholds so offers above your auto-accept price sell instantly and lowballs decline automatically. Best Offer is fixed price only. To take a listing down, use "End on eBay" under "Listed on eBay," then use the Relist card if you want it back up at a new price.

Frequently asked questions

Can I review an eBay listing before it goes live?
Yes. You edit the title, price, description, category, condition, item specifics, shipping and returns first, and the listing only posts when you press publish. You can also use the "Go live at" picker to schedule it for later, up to 21 days out on eBay.
Can I change the price after the listing is live?
Yes. Open the item and use the price field and Update Price button on the live listing card, or tap a markdown chip for -5%, -10% or -15%. The change pushes straight to eBay. Auctions that already have bids cannot change price, which is an eBay rule.
Can I list as an auction instead of a fixed price?
Yes. At the review step, switch the Fixed price / Auction toggle. Auction lets you set a start price, a duration of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days, and an optional reserve and Buy It Now. The start price defaults to 50 percent of estimated value.
