How to add an item without scanning, or from a scan, and then type in your own title, brand, condition, cost and notes.

Items usually start from a scan, but you can also add one without scanning, and nothing the AI writes is locked.

Add an item without scanning

On Items, tap "Add without scanning" (under "Scan Item"). Add your photos and anything you know (brand, model, condition, what you paid, where you found it) and tap "Save item". It uses no scan. When you want a price, open the item and tap Analyze.

Create the item from a scan

Tap Scan.
Take a photo or upload an image from your library.
Before analyzing, add any hints you already know: brand, artist or designer, item name, dimensions, condition, notes.
Review the analysis.
On a paid scan the item saves to your inventory by itself. If a Save button is showing on the result, tap it.

On a paid scan the item is saved to your inventory automatically, so there is usually nothing to move. If a particular scan is missing, open it from Scan History and tap Save to inventory.

Fill in the details yourself

Open the item from the Items page and type directly into the fields:

Title, brand, condition and description
Price for your listing
Purchase price, source location, and inbound shipping cost if it was shipped to you

Those details flow into the listing content, so a corrected brand or condition produces a better title and description.

Organize it

On Pro Plus and above, use the Inventory card on the item page to assign custom tags and a storage location, for example "Needs Photos" or "Garage, Shelf 1". To do several items at once, tap Select on Items, pick them, and open Actions.

Reprice after your edits

Editing text fields does not change the valuation on its own. If you want the price rerun using your corrections, click Re-analyze on the item page. That reruns the AI and counts as one scan.
