How to List on eBay From One Photo (First Listing in About a Minute)
3:42 video
Take a photo, get a price from real eBay sales, and publish your first eBay listing without typing the title or item details.
- Scan the item: add up to 12 photos of one item, and they count as one scan.
- Read the price: the estimate, what you keep after eBay fees, and three prices (Sells fast, Market, Patient).
- Connect eBay once: you sign in on eBay's own page, so we never see your eBay password.
- Check the listing: title, price, condition and shipping, with the category and item specifics already filled in.
- Publish now or schedule it up to 21 days out.
- If eBay refuses a listing, it shows under Not live yet with the reason.
- When it sells, the sale comes back with the real eBay fees.

What you will do
You found something to sell. In the next few minutes, we'll take a few photos of it and turn them into a live eBay listing. Three steps. Scan it, check what we filled in, and publish.
Scan the item
Know the brand or the size? Type it under Add details for better accuracy. It's optional, and it helps tell an item from a look-alike. Open Scan and take a photo, or upload ones you already have. Add the label or the maker's mark as a second or third photo. Up to 12 photos of the same item count as one scan. When you add more than one photo, it asks if they're the same item. Tap One item. In a few seconds you get what it is, and a price built from items like it that actually sold.
Read the price
Here it's 65 dollars, and about 56 in your pocket after eBay fees. Sells fast, Market and Patient are three prices, depending on how long you're willing to wait. If the condition isn't right, tap the one that is, and the three prices adjust. Right under the price, on your first listing, you'll see this button. List this one on eBay. The title, price and photos are already filled in. Not ready to list it yet? It's already saved to your items, so you can come back to it any time.
Connect eBay once
If eBay isn't connected yet, you sign in to eBay once. That happens on eBay's own page, so we never see your eBay password. Sign in, tap Agree, and you land right back on the same item, ready to list. You only do this once.
Check the listing
The form is short. Photos, title, price and condition. Read the title. eBay allows 80 characters, and you can edit anything. Shipping follows the shipping policy on your eBay account. If you'd rather charge by the buyer's location, pick Calculated postage. Everything else eBay asks for, like the category and item specifics, is under More details, already filled in from your scan. Auto-relist is on by default. If the listing ends without selling, we put it right back up, up to 8 times. Uncheck it if you'd rather not. The package weight comes from your scan. The size defaults to 12 by 9 by 3 inches, so change it if your box is different. That matters for calculated shipping. Tap Review Listing. Choose Fixed price, or Auction if you'd rather let buyers bid. This is how buyers will see it on eBay. Below it are the fees eBay charges up front. eBay also takes a final value fee when it sells, about 13 percent in the US.
Publish or schedule
You can go live now, or schedule it. eBay allows up to 21 days out. Nothing goes live until you tap Publish Live on eBay. It takes a few seconds. Then the item shows it's live, with a link to see the listing on eBay. And that's it. A live eBay listing, from one photo.
After it sells
If eBay ever refuses a listing, it shows up on the Sell tab under Not live yet, with the reason in plain words, and a fix where we have one. Ready to list holds everything you saved but haven't listed yet, so you always know what to do next. When it sells on eBay, the sale price and the real fees come back on their own. Open the item, and Financials shows your revenue, your costs, and your profit. Your first scan is free, no card needed. Try it free on the web or in the app, and list the first thing you scan, today.
