eBay auto-sync

Auto-sync removes the worst part of profit tracking: typing sale data in twice. When an item you listed through Underpriced AI sells on eBay, we pull the order details in for you and update the numbers.

How it works

1. Connect your eBay account in Settings.
2. List items to eBay through Underpriced AI.
3. When the item sells, we automatically sync the order details through eBay's Fulfillment API.
4. The sale price, actual fees and shipping charges are recorded on the item.
5. The item is marked SOLD and your profit is calculated.

Auto-sync runs on its own. There is no button to press and no report to import.

What gets synced

• Sale price: the actual amount the buyer paid
• eBay fees: the real marketplace fees, not the 13.25 percent estimate
• Shipping charges: what the buyer paid for shipping
• Order date: when the sale happened

Manual entries are never overwritten

If you already recorded the sale by hand, the sync leaves your numbers alone. Manual entries are always preserved, so you will not lose a correction you made on purpose.

What auto-sync does not cover

Sales on Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace or anywhere else are not synced, and neither are eBay listings you created outside the app. Record those yourself on the item: sale price, platform, and outbound shipping cost. Fees are calculated for you at 13.25 percent for eBay, 20 percent for Poshmark, 10 percent for Mercari and 5 percent for Facebook Marketplace. For other platforms, enter the fee manually.

Auto-sync also does not end or remove listings anywhere. If you want to take an eBay listing down after it sells elsewhere, open the item and use "End on eBay" under "Listed on eBay."

Why it matters at tax time

Accurate sale prices and real fees flow into your profit and ROI on each item, and into the Schedule C ready Tax Report CSV on the Analytics page. Record your purchase prices when you save items and let auto-sync handle the sold side.
