Tax report export
Download a Schedule C ready CSV with revenue, COGS, fees, shipping, and profit for any tax year, in one click.
The tax report turns your sales history into a spreadsheet your accountant can actually use. It is a CSV, so it opens straight into Excel or Google Sheets.
Export your tax report
- Go to the Analytics page.
- Click the Tax Report button.
- Select the tax year. It defaults to the current year.
- Download your CSV.
You can run it as many times as you like. The file is generated fresh each time, so there is nothing to hunt for later. Just click the button again.
What is in the file
- Per item rows: item name, sale date, revenue, cost of goods sold, fees, shipping, and net profit.
- Summary totals: total revenue, total COGS, total fees, total shipping, and net profit.
- Unsold inventory: the total cost of items you have not sold yet, for COGS tracking.
Make the numbers accurate first
The report is only as good as what you have recorded, so before you export:
- Record a purchase price on every item, plus any inbound shipping cost.
- Mark sold items as sold with the sale price, platform, and outbound shipping cost.
- Connect eBay so auto sync records the real sale price, actual eBay fees, and shipping charges for items you listed through Underpriced AI. Manual entries you already made are never overwritten.
Platform fees are calculated automatically for eBay at 13.25 percent, Poshmark at 20 percent, Mercari at 10 percent, and Facebook Marketplace at 5 percent. For other platforms you enter the fee yourself, so fill that in before running the report.
Not the same as your inventory export
The Tax Report is an accounting export. If you want a list of your items with names, brands, categories, values, and conditions, use the Export button on your Dashboard or the export option on the Scan History page instead. Those inventory exports are available on every plan.
