Facebook's own example: a $20 item with $5 shipping and $1 tax pays 10% of $26, which is $2.60. Orders under $8 in total pay the $0.80 minimum. The fee covers payment processing and Purchase Protection.
Local sales
There is no selling fee when the buyer picks up and pays you in person, or pays outside Facebook checkout.
