How the fees work
How the Mercari fee works
The 10% is taken from the completed item price plus buyer paid shipping. A $40 item with $6 shipping costs $4.60 in fees. When you pay the shipping yourself, the fee is 10% of the item price only and the label is your cost.
Getting paid
Direct deposit withdrawals are free. Instant Pay costs $3, and a rejected withdrawal costs $2. Neither is included here because they depend on how you cash out.
