Plans and billing

When your scans reset

How the monthly scan allowance works, what counts as a scan, how to check your remaining count, and what to do when you run out.

Every plan comes with a set number of scans per month: 20 on Starter, 50 on Pro, 120 on Pro Plus, 325 on Business, 750 on Power, and 1,800 included on Scale. That allowance is monthly, so it refreshes with your billing cycle.

Check your live count

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Open the Subscription section.
  3. Read your total scans available.

That total is your monthly plan allotment plus any credit pack scans you have bought. It is the live number for your account, so check there rather than counting scans in your head.

What uses a scan

  • Scanning a new item, whether you take a photo, upload an image, paste a URL, or use the browser extension.
  • Re-analyzing a saved item. The button says "Use 1 Scan & Re-analyze."
  • Each item in a Batch Scan counts separately, since each photo is scanned as its own item.
  • Scans you never save still count.

What does not use a scan: adding up to 3 photos of the same item to one scan, viewing results you already have, and using Re-price on the Scans list to refresh market data on a past scan. Re-price is free and can be run on each item once every few hours.

When you run out

You have two options, and both work immediately. Buy a credit pack, starting at $4 for 5 scans, and the credits are used automatically once your plan scans are gone. Or upgrade to a higher plan in Settings, which takes effect right away with a prorated charge for the rest of your cycle.

Credit pack scans behave differently from plan scans: they never expire and carry over month to month. If you want scans that stick around rather than reset, a pack is the way to hold them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check how many scans I have left?
Go to Settings and open the Subscription section. It shows your total scans available, which is your monthly plan allotment plus any credit pack scans. Credit pack scans never expire and carry over month to month, so they are included in that live total.
Do unused plan scans roll over to next month?
Your plan scans are a monthly allowance. Credit pack scans are the ones that never expire and carry over month to month, and they are used automatically once your plan scans run out. Buy a pack if you want scans that stay on your account.
Does viewing an old scan use a scan credit?
No. Viewing results you already have is free. Adding up to 3 photos of the same item to one scan also counts as a single scan, and Re-price on the Scans list is free. Re-analyzing a saved item does cost 1 scan.

Try it on web or mobile
